Excess Stock Repurchase on September 24, 2018

On September 24, 2018, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (Bank) will repurchase the portion of members' excess stock identified as surplus stock as of that date. For this repurchase, surplus stock is defined as the amount of capital stock held by a member that exceeds 125 percent of its minimum investment requirement. A member's surplus stock will not be repurchased if the amount of surplus stock is $2.5 million or less.

The Bank is providing members with the opportunity to opt-out of this surplus stock repurchase if they choose to do so. If your institution would prefer that the Bank not repurchase its surplus stock on September 24, 2018, please complete the enclosed Capital Stock Repurchase Opt-Out form and either fax it to the Bank at 214.441.8513, or email it to controlsandreporting@fhlb.com no later than 5:00 p.m. Central Time on Monday, September 24, 2018.

On September 24, 2018, the Bank will also repurchase all excess stock held by non-members as of that date. Non-members will not be permitted to opt-out of this repurchase.

Your institution's current excess stock balance and an estimate of its surplus stock can be found on SecureConnect (at the bottom of the Capital Stock Worksheet, labeled "Excess / (Shortage) (B1)" and "Eligible For Mandatory Repurchase," respectively), or by calling the Member Services Desk at 844.FHL.BANK (844.345.2265).

Sincerely,
