Bank Awards More Than $3.5M in Pathway Fund Grants
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (Bank) has awarded $3,557,500 in 2026 Pathway Fund grants through 11 participating member financial institutions.
The 2026 grants will assist 30 organizations with clearing an estimated 2,684 titles and prevent heirs’ property issues by executing wills or deeds for nearly 5,000 individuals. The grants are also expected to assist nearly 26,000 people with training and education.
The Pathway Fund (formerly the Heirs’ Property Program), created in 2023, addresses heirs’ property issues, which refers to land or a home passed down without a will or clear legal documentation of ownership. Without a clear title, families may face challenges transferring, financing or preserving property for future generations.
Organizations were eligible to receive up to $150,000 for remediation efforts and up to $25,000 for education and will preparation. The Bank initially allocated $3 million to the Pathway Fund in 2026, but it ultimately made more funds available due to demand.
A complete list of members and organizations that received 2026 Pathway Fund grants can be found on the Pathway Fund web page. Visit our Community Programs page for more information on our community investment offerings.
