Relief Program for New Mexico Storms, Flooding and Landslides
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (Bank) has activated its Disaster Relief Program (DRP) in response to the damage caused by severe storms, flooding and landslides in New Mexico during the period from June 23, 2025 through August 5, 2025. Currently, Dona Ana and Lincoln counties are eligible for assistance. Check the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) website for potential updates.
Under the DRP:
- Subsidized advances are available to members to assist individuals and families whose homes or businesses were damaged or destroyed by a federally declared disaster event
- Funds are priced below the Bank’s regular Community Investment Program rates
- The advances are available from September 12, 2025 through March 12, 2026
- Income eligibility limits are expanded to 165 percent of the area median income
- Advance terms range from three months to 40 years

Individuals and business owners located within a FEMA-declared disaster area may apply for DRP funding through the Bank’s member financial institutions.
