- Bulletin No: 2022-25
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (Bank) is pleased to announce the results of the 2022 election for four positions on the Bank’s Board of Directors (Board), which consisted of one member director seat in Mississippi, one member director seat in New Mexico, an independent director seat and a public interest independent director seat. Each seat has a four-year term commencing January 1, 2023 and expiring December 31, 2026. There were no member director seats to be filled this year for Arkansas, Louisiana or Texas.
A. Fred Miller, Jr. was re-elected as a member director representing Mississippi, and Christopher G. Palmer was elected as a member director representing New Mexico. Because both were sole candidates for their respective states, they were deemed elected without further action and therefore members were not requested to cast votes for those positions. Incumbent public interest independent director Dianne W. Bolen was re-elected. Lorraine Palacios was elected as an independent director. Both were the sole candidates for their seats. Mr. Miller, Mr. Palmer, Ms. Bolen and Ms. Palacios were elected as described below.
The total number of votes eligible to be cast in the election for the independent director seats was 4,569,452. A total of 152 ballots were received for each of the independent director seats; however, some of those ballots were blank. Consequently, 137 valid ballots were counted for the public interest independent director seat and 142 valid ballots were counted for the independent director seat.
