Coronavirus Preparedness

At the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (Bank), our highest priority is serving our members. We pride ourselves on being available to discuss business solutions, products and strategies.

Recently, the Coronavirus has been at the forefront of discussions. While the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) position is that the immediate health risk from COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus, is considered low for the American public, Bank management is closely monitoring the situation and its potential impact on our operations. We have put into place plans to continue serving members should the situation worsen.

At this time, we want to ensure that you have enough available staff members who can execute transactions on behalf of your institution. Please review your current signature cards, review your employees' access to SecureConnect and check that employees' tokens for services, such as SecureConnect, wires and safekeeping, are active. This is particularly important for transactions that may require a second level of approval.

We are aware that several financial institutions have suspended air travel. In an abundance of caution, we are also limiting non-essential air travel for our employees until March 31, 2020.

Our members remain our top priority. Please call Member Services at 844.FHL.BANK (844.345.2265) if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Sanjay K. Bhasin
President and Chief Executive Officer
