Our Risk Management team keeps FHLB Dallas safe by preventing or minimizing potential financial losses through strategic planning and innovation. Because our environment is constantly changing, we are fortunate to have access to high-quality learning and development opportunities that help us accurately assess FHLB Dallas’ risk appetite.
Whether we’re managing the internal risk rating or performing annual model validations and reviews, we look for risk in all company transactions. Traits we look for in potential candidates in our department include high attention to detail, ability to adapt easily to change and big-picture thinking. A lot of our team members have backgrounds in internal audit, consulting and public accounting.
We are currently looking for a risk management lead within our Operational Risk and Enterprise Risk Management Reporting teams. The right candidate would be responsible for leading risk management programs, developing and maintaining enterprise risk management frameworks and working with FHLB Dallas business units to help ensure risks are being identified, assessed, monitored and mitigated within FHLB Dallas’ risk appetite.
