The FHLB Dallas provides securities safekeeping services for all types of securities for its members and other financial institutions that are eligible for membership. These include commercial banks, savings institutions, credit unions and insurance companies. Transactions involving cash settlements are cleared through the customer's Demand Deposit Account on the date of receipt or delivery. Many types of securities held in the Securities Safekeeping Department may be used as collateral for FHLB Dallas advances.

Hours of Operations

• The Safekeeping Department's hours of operation are from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time (CT), Monday through Friday.
