The FHLB Dallas' Community Investment Department offers extensive expertise in community revitalization and development programs, with particular emphasis on affordable housing initiatives. Through the FHLB Dallas' Affordable Housing Program, subsidized advances or direct subsidies are made to stockholders engaged in programs that promote long-term, owner-occupied and affordable rental housing for low- and moderate-income families. The Community Investment Program provides favorably priced advances to assist stockholders in funding activities that expand housing for low- and moderate-income households, or that contribute to attracting, maintaining or expanding businesses in older neighborhoods and communities.
